The Waldgaststätte Bismarckturm offers homemade specialties such as the popular thunderstorm cake or a hearty butcher’s platter. You can also enjoy the quiet location on the Kummelberg, watch forest birds or visit the nearby raccoon enclosure.

The ascent to the restaurant takes around 60 minutes. If you are not good on foot, you can arrange to be picked up by the innkeeper. The path is also easy to manage with a baby carriage if you are in good physical condition.
